What Classroom Live collects

When a participant joins, we collect the classroom code, the name they choose to display, basic device and browser type, connection status, poll responses, feedback, and questions they submit. We do not require a participant account.

Recordings

Only an instructor can start a recording. The instructor chooses whether to capture their screen, microphone, or camera and sees a clear recording indicator. Participant devices, microphones, cameras, screens, and other tabs are never recorded by Classroom Live.

How data is used

Classroom data is used to synchronize the live presentation, show attendance and engagement to the instructor, answer questions, and provide approved class resources. Recording files are stored for webinar production and distribution controlled by the instructor.

Storage and deletion

Class records and recording metadata are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Instructors can clear participant records. Organizations using Classroom Live can request export or deletion through the support page.

Sharing and tracking

We do not sell personal information and the app does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
